Claudia Lenti, known as La Italiana de la Salsa, is a talented second-generation Italian singer and songwriter from Montreal, who has made a significant mark with her strong Latin influences. Through her original music, she seamlessly blends Italian and Spanish cultures, incorporating multiple genres through Salsa to showcase Quebec’s multiculturalism. Her unique perspective on Latin music is vividly captured in her latest EP, ‘La Italiana de la Salsa,’ an album recorded and filmed between Montreal, Quebec, and Habana, Cuba. This impressive body of work has not only captivated audiences in Montreal but has also propelled Lenti to international recognition, with her music resonating across South America, the United States, and Europe.

On October 4, 2025, Lenti unveiled her third EP, La Italiana de la Salsa. This album highlights her unique musical and artistic identity by blending Rap and Salsa, seamlessly incorporating multiple languages within her lyrics. It is a true reflection of Canada’s multiculturalism and diversity. Lenti has expressed that one of her primary objectives is to foster unity by bringing various cultures together.

She travelled to Havana, Cuba to record and film this EP, where part of her musical team is based.

Claudia’s recognition as the Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the 2025 Latin Awards Canada marks a significant achievement, as she becomes the first Italian to ever receive this honor.

LA ITALIANA DE LA SALSA

Claudia Lenti, known as La Italiana de la Salsa, releases “Antipasto,” the introduction to her forthcoming
album, La Italiana de la Salsa Volume II. Produced by Eloy David Mora, the track blends a cha-cha
foundation with hip-hop and dembow undertones, setting the tone for an era defined by independence,
ambition and self-respect.

Drawing on her Italian roots, Lenti turns the antipasto into a sharp metaphor for breadcrumbing: small
gestures, intermittent attention and empty promises that keep someone waiting for a commitment that
never arrives. The appetizers keep coming, but the main meal is never served. The song follows a woman
who recognizes this toxic pattern and chooses herself. Now, she sets the table.

With its narrative-led approach, “Antipasto” serves as the album’s opening statement. Its wit and attitude
introduce a wider artistic vision: Claudia Lenti as the boss of her own empire, clear in her goals and
unwavering in her pursuit of her career. This new era places determination, creative ownership and
international ambition at the forefront.
The forthcoming album brings together Italian, Spanish, English and French. Rooted in Latin music, it draws
on different underlying styles and contemporary influences while retaining a distinctive Italian flavor.
